Well, about a month ago I bought a digital camera on eBay, an Olympus D-360L if you're interested, though I'm pretty sure you aren't. But I ended up having all kinds of shipping problems that are less interesting to anyone but me than the type of camera I bought.

It was delivered on Tuesday, which made many people I told about it mistakenly think it was a birthday present. I waited for it to arrive for the majority of the morning, then when it hadn't been delivered yet, went to work. I came back at three o'clock during my lunch hour, and saw that it wasn't there. I checked the tracking info on the UPS website, and it said it had been delivered and released by the driver at the garage. Since it wasn't there, that meant my neighbors (who live in an apartment that's part of the same building as the garage, it's hard to explain) had probably picked it up. I left them an answering machine message, and they dropped it off for me while I was at work.

And so, since the driver released the package without a signature on my neighbors' doorstep, when I finally got it, this was the first picture I took, of the box it came in:

Since then, I've just been riding around with it in my backpack, snapping pictures everywhere I felt the need. Here are some of my favorites, and I've uploaded more here.
